Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) is currently drafting a Proposed OJK Regulation (RPOJK) and a Proposed Regulation of the Members of the Board of Commissioners (RPADK) concerning the Implementation of Sustainable Finance for Financial Services Sector Business Actors (PUSK), Issuers, and Public Companies as amendments to POJK 51/2017. The drafting of these regulations constitutes a follow-up to the mandate of Law Number 4 of 2023 on Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (P2SK), as well as an alignment with Sustainability Disclosure Standards (PSPK) 1 and PSPK 2, which are consistent with the international standards IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 concerning sustainability-related and climate-related disclosures.

The RPOJK and RPADK introduce strengthened provisions on reporting and disclosure of sustainability-related financial information, alignment with global standards on sustainability-related financial disclosures and climate-related disclosures, reinforcement of governance, risk management, strategy, as well as sustainability metrics and targets, and the regulation of implementation phases and supervisory mechanisms. These amendments aim to enhance the quality and consistency of sustainability disclosures, strengthen governance and risk management related to sustainability aspects, and support the achievement of sustainable development goals and Indonesia’s commitment to Net Zero Emission (NZE).

Currently, the drafting of the RPOJK and RPADK has entered the public consultation stage. In this regard, OJK convened a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Public Hearing from Tuesday to Thursday, 10–12 February 2025, at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta - Diponegoro, inviting representatives of Financial Services Sector Business Actors, Issuers, Public Companies, associations, and other relevant stakeholders to provide direct input.

Request for Written Feedback

Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) also invites the active participation of Financial Services Sector Business Actors (PUSK), Issuers, and Public Companies to submit written comments and feedback on the proposed RPOJK and RPADK.

OJK looks forward to constructive input from stakeholders to support the development of a robust and globally aligned sustainable finance regulatory framework.
