The Financial Services Authority (OJK) continues to support various sustainable finance initiatives to achieve Indonesia's sustainable development goals and Net Zero Emission targets, one of which is collaborating with relevant ministries/agencies and stakeholders to develop the Indonesia Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance (TKBI). TKBI is a classification of economic activities that support Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals and efforts covering economic, environmental, and social aspects and serves as a guide to improve capital allocation and sustainable financing. TKBI is developed with the concept of a living document that develops gradually. TKBI version 1, published in February 2024, contains the main framework of the taxonomy with a focus on the energy sector. Furthermore, on 11 February 2025 during the Annual Meeting of the Financial Services Industry (PTIJK), TKBI version 2 was introduced which covers the Construction and Real Estate (C&RE), Transportation and Storage (T&S), and activities in some Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Uses (AFOLU) sectors, in this case, the forestry and oil palm plantation sectors. To disseminate the policy, OJK has held a series of Socialisation of TKBI version 2 on Monday, 24 February 2025. OJK has held the Phase 1 Socialization of TKBI Version 2 on February 24, 2025, and continued with the Phase 2 socialization activities on Thursday–Friday, April 24–25, 2025.
