OJK continues to support various initiatives that promote sustainable finance to achieve Indonesia's sustainable development and net zero emissions targets. One of these initiatives is the Indonesia Green Taxonomy, which was developed together with related ministries. It serves as a guideline for the classification of economic activities that support sustainable goals. The taxonomy is used as a guide for scaling up sustainable financing to support the achievement of Indonesia's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets.
To implement the nature of a living document, OJK is updating the Indonesian Green Taxonomy Edition 1.0 (IGT) to become the Indonesian Sustainable Taxonomy (IST), with an initial focus on the energy sector. The update will be aligned with national interests, Sustainable Development Goals, social aspects, government programs, ministerial policy updates, and international developments. Therefore, from May to October 2023, OJK organized a series of workshops and FGDs to discuss the concept of updating IGT to IST.
The updating of IGT to IST has reached the consultation phase. The Consultative Paper can be accessed through https://bit.ly/DraftCPTBI. To improve the concept of the TBI, we invite you to submit written feedback through the online survey platform (link: https://bit.ly/TanggapanCPTBI).
